No.6/8/2016-17/DFO/C (Auction): It is hereby notified for information to all the registered Forest Contractors/HPC cleared Wood Based Units situated within the Minor Industrial Estate, general public and individuals that 340 number of standing trees of different species and sizes growing within the right of way along Imphal-Kangchup road shall be sold by way of e-auction through Forest Department’s portal forest.manipurforest.gov.in as per the schedule and terms and conditions given below:-

Terms and conditions of the e-auction sale of the standing trees vide e-auction notice no. 6/8/2016-17/DFO/C (Auction) dated 24/08/2020

1. Any registered Forest Contractors/HPC cleared Saw Mill located within approved MIEs/Wood based Units/Individuals may join the e-auction sale.
2. The intending bidders may register at the Forest Department portal forest.manipurforest.gov.in for participating in the auction sale and bid till 5.00 pm of 02.09.2020.   
3. The Intending bidders may inspect the trees and get themselves satisfied of the quality and quantity of the standing trees before joining the auction sale. No complaint on the quality and quantity of the trees after finalization of the auction sale shall be entertained. Details of trees including species and size can be seen from the notice board.
4. The intending bidders shall deposit Earnest Money @ 5% of the value of the floor price of  the trees growing along the section of roads they are interested to bid in the form of D-at-Call/Banker’s cheque from any Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of DFO/Central Forest Division, Manipur or by depositing in Cash to the O/o DFO, Central (if the above facilities are unavailable due to COVID) for joining the e-auction sale.
5. The Earnest Money deposited shall be refunded after finalization of the auction sale or may be forfeited to the Government if the terms and conditions of the auction sale are violated.
6. Amount once bided cannot be withdrawn. In case of withdrawal, the Earnest Money Deposited will be forfeited to the government.  

7. Trees shall be felled after felling permission is issued by the Divisional Forest Officer, Central Forest Division, Imphal in favour of the successful bidder(s). Felling shall be executed at cost of the successful bidder under the supervisor of officials of the Sadar West Range, Imphal.

8.  The timber shall be for consumption within the State of Manipur only and no permit for transportation of the timber in log form outside the State shall be granted.

9.  The successful bidders shall deposit the bid amount along with taxes to the Division Office within 5 (five) days of the approval of rate by the competent authority, failing which, the EM will be forfeited to the Government.

10. The Divisional Forest officer, Central Forest Division, Imphal reserves the rights not to accept or reject any tender/bid without assigning any reason thereof.

11. Acceptance of the bid amount will be subject to the approval of the appropriate authority of the Forest Department, Manipur.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Conservator of Forests, Central Circle, Government of Manipur shall be final and binding to all the parties.
