On 10 September 2024 a team of 17 Assam rifles led by subedar Manoha shrestha JC 173039K handed over areca nuts 480 kgs along with 6 vehicles one POR TNL 2024 10766 dated 14th September 2024 filed in this case with less quantity of areca nuts as 160 kgs instead of actual quantity of 480 kgs of areca nuts mistakenly
Hence a case is being filed under Moreh Range
Action Taken
Seized the Burmese origin areca nuts 480 kgs along with DI tata and 3 Tata trucks for taking further legal action
